Ganesh Nayak, AIA

Principal
Ganesh is a registered architect with over twenty years of experience in a variety of project types, including federal, education (K-12), mixed-use developments, multi-family housing, institutional, industrial and healthcare. He has led teams in the master planning, design, code research and construction documentation of projects representing over $300m in value. With considerable expertise in sustainability, Ganesh has been directly involved in coordinating LEED certification for many major projects totaling over three million square feet.
Since 2009, Ganesh has focused on the design and construction of federal
buildings, and LEED management of projects. He managed the LEED program of the 5th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT) facilities at Ft. Stewart, Georgia with over thirty buildings in a campus, on behalf of the US Army Corps of Engineers. He was awarded the Charles Trainor Team Award by the Savannah District of the USACE for his work on the project. Most recently, the Chapel Center at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, where he was on-site manager for quality control and LEED management, was awarded LEED Gold certification by USGBC.
Ganesh holds a Master of Architecture degree from Kansas State University, and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Bhopal University, India. He is a LEED Accredited Professional since 2004. He also holds a Construction Quality Control Management for Contractors certificate issued by the US Army Corps of Engineers. He is actively involved in reviewing proposals for USGBC’s Green Build, and has presented and published on sustainability.
